Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Canoga Park, CA is seeking a Senior Associate, Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on mechanical component manufacture, assembly and integration into rocket engine and power systems products.

You will apply Lean methods (Kaizen, VSM), develop layouts, determine tooling needs, and support welding processes while collaborating with design, procurement and production. A US security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years related experience (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of Lean methods (Kaizen, VSM) and process improvement.
• Experience with Creo CAD/Windchill and Oracle MRP/MES.

Responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing projects using Lean methods and develop strategic plans.
• Develop and implement manufacturing and assembly process improvements.
• Support welding process development and tooling requirements.
• Coordinate change management using engineering software to keep MBOMs and work instructions aligned.
