Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to join the Aeronautics Systems Intern Program, located in Iuka, MS. The role involves supporting equipment calibration, testing, and fabrication tasks within the Aerostructures group and requires a current full-time student in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or related STEM fields.

Applicants must be able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance, be available for at least 10 weeks in summer 2027, and maintain U.S.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 202.
• Be majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or other STEM major

Responsibilities

• Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operate related equipment; conduct tests and report data in prescribed format.
• Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
• Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
