Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to contribute to engine test campaigns by developing work instructions, planning test activities, and managing hardware configurations. You will provide on-site technical direction, support test setup, and ensure safe, efficient operations across multiple test environments.

The role requires collaboration with design engineering, test operations, and supply chain, with relocation offered and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of applicable experience in manufacturing or test operations.
• Hands-on hardware manufacturing experience including maintenance, assembly, integration, instrumentation, cleaning, leak testing, and final acceptance tests.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage work instructions and test plans for daily test operations and article maintenance.
• Provide technical direction to technicians for hardware removal and rework.
• Support test setup activities and troubleshoot issues during campaigns.
• Review and disposition non-conformances and drive corrective actions.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of hardware.
