Job summary

E-Space is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design and implement electro-mechanical assembly and test processes at our Arlington, TX facility. You will collaborate with the mechanical design team to ensure manufacturability and lead prototype builds to meet production milestones.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 1+ years in manufacturing, willingness to work weekends, and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Willing to work weekend and extended hours as needed
• Able to travel for business trips up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electro-mechanical assembly and test processes
• Collaborate with the mechanical design team to incorporate design for manufacturability
• Lead prototype builds ensuring incremental milestones for the production development are met
• Ensure manufacturing systems are capable of hitting high volume rate, cost, and quality targets
• Lead facilities development, floor layout, headcount requirements, and material flow definition
• Identify tooling and hardware requirements, design and implement them into production processes
• Identify automation opportunities and establish requirements as well as evaluate return on investment for each
• Work with in-house resources or vendors as necessary to develop these solutions and implement on the production line
