Job summary

MaviTech Professional Services LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the development and scaling of advanced aerospace manufacturing production. You will work at the intersection of Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and Test to improve efficiency and throughput.

Responsibilities include quality control, process improvements, tooling development, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Industrial Manufacturing Process, or related field.
  • 0-5+ years of direct experience in related manufacturing engineering.
  • Experience with 3D CAD (Creo preferred) and engineering drawings/GD&T.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality assurance practices.
  • Proficiency in using various assembly processes and related tooling.
  • Familiarity with aerospace materials and their manufacturing processes.
  • Safety and quality standards in manufacturing with ISO 9001 or AS9100 experience.
  • LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt or certification preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • US Citizen due to ITAR-compliant facility.

Responsibilities

  • Quality: Ensure all products meet or exceed quality standards through effective quality control and ongoing monitoring.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and help implement enhancements using best practices to boost productivity and minimize waste.
  • Hands-On Manufacturing Engineering: Support the design, development, validation, and implementation of manufacturing tooling, fixtures, gauges, and production support equipment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Safety Commitment: Work in a culture of safety, complying with health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to the industry.
