Job summary

MPI is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production processes and ensure quality in an aerospace manufacturing environment near Mentor, OH. The role requires technical expertise and a focus on continuous improvement within the aerospace industry.

The engineer will develop and implement manufacturing processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze production data, and support new equipment implementations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and documenting

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering or a related field is a plus.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing or a similar environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with CNC mills or lathes.
• Familiarity with assembly and production processes.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies.
• Proficiency in CAD software and understanding of technical drawings.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs meet manufacturing capabilities.
