Job summary

Senior Aerospace SSP, a division of Senior plc, is the world’s largest aerospace high‑pressure ducting system supplier. This internship supports the Manufacturing Engineering team by creating Master Routings, verifying Bills of Materials, and implementing process improvements to boost efficiency and throughput.

The role involves collaboration across multiple groups and reports to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently graduated with a BS/MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Physics.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to tackle unfamiliar problems using engineering/physics principles.
• Demonstrated leadership and technical competence with real examples.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving and ability to break down complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manufacturing Engineering team with daily tasks and special projects.
• Create Master Routings and verify Bills of Materials.
• Implement process improvements and tooling, improve efficiency/throughput.
• Conduct reviews, analyze data, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Design, Purchasing and Shipping as needed.
