Job summary

TT Electronics' Olathe, Kansas facility is seeking a Quality Inspector to inspect and test materials, components, and products to ensure they meet established quality standards and customer requirements. S/he will receive training on reading drawings and understanding requirements, perform Final V&M, and document findings to ensure only quality parts ship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in quality control, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related field is advantageous.
• Ability to use and read necessary tooling including but not limited to calipers, feeler gauges, and x-ray.
• ITAR compliance: U.S. person status as defined by ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products using appropriate methods and tools.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including reports, logs, and non-conformance records.
• Ensure products comply with company standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
• Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities, and document findings accurately.
• Work with production and quality teams to recommend and implement corrective actions to address defects and prevent recurrence.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection and testing equipment to ensure accurate results.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
• Communicate inspection results and quality issues to relevant stakeholders, including production, engineering, and management teams.
• Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and inspection procedures.
