Qualifications

Previous Manual Machinist experience required, including setup and operation of manual mills and lathes.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, routers, and specifications.
Proficient in shop math, machining practices, and determining feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining methods.
Aerospace component or exotic material machining experience preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required; reliable attendance, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual horizontal lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
Fabricate, modify, and repair precision parts, tooling, machine components, fixtures, and gauges.
Perform manual machining operations including turning, boring, facing, threading, reaming, and related processes.
Determine machining sequences, tooling, feeds, speeds, and methods required to complete assigned work.
Inspect completed parts to ensure conformance with blueprints, specifications, tolerances, and quality requirements.
Troubleshoot machining challenges and make adjustments to achieve required specifications.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment while following all company safety, quality, and operating procedures.
