Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Must be able to fabricate parts from raw material and verify tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on materials and workpieces.
• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, and other shop equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Manufacture components from raw stock including bolts, screws, nuts, washers, bushings, shafts, spacers, and custom-machined parts.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments.
• Fit and assemble machined components into complete assemblies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
