Qualifications

• Previous Manual Machinist experience required, including setup and operation of manual mills and lathes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, routers, and specifications.
• Proficient in shop math, machining practices, and determining feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining methods.
• Aerospace component or exotic material machining experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required; reliable attendance, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual horizontal lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
• Fabricate, modify, and repair precision parts, tooling, machine components, fixtures, and gauges.
• Perform manual machining operations including turning, boring, facing, threading, reaming, and related processes.
• Determine machining sequences, tooling, feeds, speeds, and methods required to complete assigned work.
• Inspect completed parts to ensure conformance with blueprints, specifications, tolerances, and quality requirements.
• Troubleshoot machining challenges and make adjustments to achieve required specifications.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment while following all company safety, quality, and operating procedures.
