Job summary
Doncasters in Long Beach, CA is seeking Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment across mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. You will collaborate with multiple departments to keep machines at peak performance and support a manufacturing environment.
Ideal candidates have 3 years in a similar role, with an Advanced Apprenticeship or HNC in Electrical Engineering and PLC knowledge.
Qualifications
- 3 years previous experience in a similar role.
- Advanced Apprenticeship or HNC equivalent in Electrical engineering with a good PLC knowledge.
- Experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain production equipment through troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure machinery is working to full capacity.
- Diagnose problems and implement effective solutions efficiently.
- Aided by PLC logic, diagnose faults and interpret control schemes.
