Jobot is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing machinery in our aerospace-related operations in Brea, CA. This on-site, permanent position offers 1st or 2nd shift with strong mechanical focus.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance, reads blueprints, and can fabricate or repair parts; familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, and power transmission is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, power transmission, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to fabricate, weld, or machine parts as needed.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and torque wrenches.
• Ability to perform basic shop math and calculate equipment setups and dimensions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working on close-tolerance machinery.
• Safety-minded, quality-focused, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery, equipment, and production systems.
• Repair and rebuild machines and mechanical assemblies to proper operating condition.
• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and power transmission issues.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and unscheduled maintenance.
• Help minimize equipment downtime and improve overall equipment reliability.
• Fabricate, weld, or machine replacement parts as needed.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and procedures.
• Work with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and assist with ordering replacement and spare parts.
• Experience with CNC machines, presses, metal-forming equipment, or similar manufacturing machinery is a plus.
