Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Carson City, NV seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician for aerospace manufacturing. You will diagnose problems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems to keep equipment running safely and reliably.

This hands-on role involves reading schematics, using diagnostic tools, documenting work in CMMS, and supporting uptime improvements across plant systems. Day shift: 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, and plant infrastructure.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, vacuum, and control-system issues.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, schematics, manuals, and other technical documentation.
• Use multimeters, precision measurement tools, electronic test equipment, vacuum leak detectors, and other diagnostic instruments.
• Complete welding, fabrication, conduit, lighting, and facility repair work as needed.
• Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and repair history in the CMMS.
• Support equipment uptime and safety through effective maintenance practices.
