Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Identification Technician in Carson City, NV. You will verify part identity, serial numbers, markings, and documentation, and perform basic visual and dimensional inspections using calipers and precision tools.

Training is provided, with opportunities to cross-train as you develop inspection knowledge. You will work on tough, detail‑oriented tasks, ensuring traceability and accuracy across production records and customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement techniques is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and production records.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic shop math and print-reading skills.
• Willingness to cross-train and learn additional inspection responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Verify part identity, serial numbers, lot traceability, and required markings.
• Confirm that part markings meet customer and engineering requirements.
• Review routers, certifications, technique cards, and production documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify that the correct documentation accompanies each part before it moves to the next operation.
• Perform basic visual and dimensional inspections using calipers and other precision tools.
• Enter and track production and inspection activity in E1 or other applicable systems.
• Complete inspection records and traceability documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
