Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Carson City, NV is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain production equipment and plant systems in a dynamic aerospace environment.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems, read schematics, document work in CMMS, and collaborate with Production and Operations to improve uptime and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience maintaining and repairing equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, manuals and equipment documentation.
• Experience with CMMS work orders and maintenance documentation preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial safety requirements (LOTO, confined space, hot work).
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and plant infrastructure.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, and control-system issues.
• Troubleshoot machine controls, automation, pumps, and lighting.
• Read electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings; document repair history in CMMS.
• Complete welding, fabrication, and facility repairs as needed.
• Support specialized plant systems and ensure equipment uptime.
• Communicate repair status and coordinate with Production and Operations.
