Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) – Carson City is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support Foundry, Investment Casting, and Heat Treat operations. You’ll learn multiple processes, move materials, operate equipment, and help with setup, quality checks, and documentation.

We’ll train you; no aerospace experience required. This on-site, swing-shift role offers 12PM-8:30PM with shift differential when applicable, and a path to grow in the aerospace supply chain.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn multiple processes.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, foundry, heat treat, aerospace, warehouse, or material handling is a plus but not required.

Responsabilités

• Support production across Foundry, Investment Casting, and Heat Treat departments.
• Learn to operate department tools/equipment through training.
• Load, unload, move, stage, and transport materials and castings.
• Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and basic maintenance.
• Monitor processes and report unusual conditions or quality issues.
• Perform basic visual inspections and quality verification.
• Maintain part identification, lot traceability, and production records.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas per 6S standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals.
