Job summary

The Maintenance Technician at Héroux-Devtek's Springfield, Ohio facility is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining production equipment to support manufacturing of aerospace components. You will perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines, read manuals, diagnose problems, and work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, with PLC experience a plus.

Qualifications

4+ years of manufacturing experience; hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with PLC and HVAC.
High school diploma or GED with apprenticeship or equivalent production maintenance experience.
AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain production machines and plant facilities, including CNC equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance on production equipment.
Perform a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.
Read and interpret manuals and work orders to perform maintenance services.
Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust equipment.
