Job summary

Hartzell Propeller in Piqua, Ohio is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to keep CNC/multi-axis machines, robotics, and related systems in top condition across multiple Hartzell facilities. You will help eliminate downtime through preventative maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities include reading electrical/hydraulic schematics, implementing new automation projects, and supporting test runs of repaired equipment. Overtime and off-shift hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3-5 years of experience – trade school is a plus
• Must be willing to work overtime and have off shift hours as required

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as routine filter changes along with other maintenance related items
• Work in parallel with other departments and skilled trades on projects
• New Robotic and CNC machine cell layouts
• Utilities installations
• New process implementations
• Robotics process development and implementation
• Develop placards (preventative maintenance)
• Performs equipment repair
• Dismantles defective equipment and installs new or repaired parts
• Support test run of repaired equipment
• Operates forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts
• Moves equipment and re-installs electric, air and network as required.
• Performs various plumbing tasks including but not limited to Running pipe
• Repairing leaking lines,
• Clearing clogged drains
