Boyd Thermal by Eaton is seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Supervisor at our Woburn, MA site to lead day‑to‑day maintenance, optimize equipment reliability, and drive a culture of safety and efficiency in high‑precision aerospace manufacturing. The role emphasizes preventive/predictive maintenance, OEE improvement, and team leadership.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in manufacturing maintenance, CMMS experience (FIXX), and a background with vacuum furnaces/CNC equipment.

Qualifications

Eight+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least one year of experience as a lead or Supervisor.
Experience with vacuum furnaces, CNC machinery, and precision machining tools.
Proven experience with CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

Supervise maintenance technicians for repair, preventive maintenance, and optimization of manufacturing equipment (vacuum furnaces, CNC machines, machining centers, and related systems).
Use FIXX CMMS to schedule, track, and document maintenance activities, including work orders, spare parts inventory, and equipment history.
Focus on improving equipment uptime and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs; introduce predictive maintenance techniques where applicable.
Provide hands‑on leadership during equipment breakdowns and coordinate rapid repairs to minimize production impact; support root cause analysis with Process Engineering.
Champion a strong safety culture; ensure maintenance activities comply with OSHA, EHS standards, and LOTO procedures; conduct safety audits.
Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance technicians; develop team skills including brazing and precision machining systems.
Participate in Tier II/III meetings; collaborate with Process Engineering and Production teams for optimization and new equipment installation.
Manage spare parts inventory and assist in developing the maintenance department budget.
