Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Morton, IL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to perform installations, maintenance, and repair of the facilities equipment used in manufacturing components. You will work with an experienced team to keep operations running smoothly on a full-time, onsite basis.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Prior aerospace/manufacturing experience is preferred, and candidates should be able to work without sponsorship in the U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–3 years of Maintenance Mechanic experience (aerospace/manufacturing preferred)
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Installs, services and maintains the operating condition of all the facilities equipment.
• Determines the reasons for equipment failure.
• Make routine inspections to determine the necessity of repair and maintenance of the plant machinery and equipment.
• Uses manufacturer drawings and specifications to facilitate internal repairs.
• Acts as subject matter expert and shares knowledge with other employees.
• Assists with training other employees and fosters a team environment.
