Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to assemble, repair, and maintain industrial motors and machinery across the Midwest. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, read blueprints, and work with hydraulics and pneumatics to ensure safe, efficient operation on customer sites.

The role is primarily on-site at multiple industrial facilities in the Marion, IA area, with potential for weekend overtime and a company truck, gas card, and tool allowance for Lead mechanics.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years in industrial maintenance or mechanic work for entry level, or 5+ years for lead mechanics.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on industrial equipment.
• Strong reading of blueprints, layouts and manufacturers specifications.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics in an industrial setting.
• Proficiency with hand tools and industrial tools safety and precision.

Aufgaben

• Break down, rebuild and service electric motors and related equipment.
• Assemble, dismantle, install, remove and maintain machinery per blueprints and specs.
• Diagnose issues and perform timely mechanical/electrical repairs.
• Work on pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, and related components for reliable operation.
• Fabricate and install machine guarding and structural components for safety and integrity.
• Demonstrate safe use of tools and equipment and work to safety standards.
• Travel to onsite locations to support industrial clients and perform maintenance.
