Job summary

Beyond New Horizons (BNH) at Arnold Air Force Base in Tullahoma, TN is seeking an Aerospace Machinist. You will work within an integrated team responsible for Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment, performing mechanical, electrical, and manual tasks in a testing facility.

The role requires the ability to work any shift, strong teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures. A valid driver’s license, security clearance eligibility, and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Four years machinist experience in aeronautical test facility operations or six years as outside machinist/millwright/aircraft mechanic.
• Must read/write English to safely understand technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test facility equipment for operations.
• Install and check test articles and installations.
• Troubleshoot equipment and test articles during tests.
• Operate plant and test equipment during tests.
• Instruct less experienced craftspeople.
