Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is seeking Boilermakers for Arnold Air Force Base, TN. Multiple shifts may be required to support priority work. You will be part of an integrated team maintaining or operating test facilities for USAF Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

The role involves metal working, welding, and heavy fabrication in a controlled test environment, with emphasis on safety and adherence to procedures. A06 minimum requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years in layout, industrial boiler making or metal fabrication.
• Ability to pass Welder Qualification tests per ASME IX.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test facility equipment for operations.
• Prepare test article for testing.
• Install test article and check installations.
• Troubleshoot equipment, test articles, and installations.
• Operate plant equipment during test.
• Assist in tests.
• Remove test articles after test.
• Maintain heavy ducting systems and heat exchangers.
• Perform maintenance to keep test facility equipment running.
• Use hand and power tools and measuring devices.
• Instruct less experienced craftspeople.
