MTI in South Bend, IN is seeking a skilled machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. You will read blueprints, set up and operate CNC equipment, and produce parts for aerospace and industrial applications with tight tolerances.

You'll use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions, uphold Lean and 5S standards, and collaborate with engineers and production staff to drive quality and continuous improvement. This role is full-time, on-site with growth opportunities.

Formación

• GD&T expertise required and strong attention to detail.
• Safe and disciplined work ethic with focus on reliability.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and tolerances.
• Willingness to learn CAD/CAM and advanced machining.
• Proven collaboration with engineering and production teams.

Responsabilidades

• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using micrometers and calipers.
• Machine parts to exact specifications.
• Set up and operate CNC equipment.
• Inspect parts for defects and conformance to specs.
• Maintain Lean/5S in the shop and support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing personnel to share technical information.
