Job summary

Micro-Tronics, Inc. (MTI) is seeking a CNC Machinist II to set up and operate CNC Lathes and Mills, manufacturing precision aerospace components. Strong blueprint reading, GD&T interpretation, and advanced inspection skills are required to troubleshoot processes, ensure quality, and sustain productivity.

The role emphasizes process improvement, strict safety, and adherence to 5S in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with Fanuc controls and multi-axis machines is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Lathes and Mills with minimal supervision.
• Perform machining operations per work instructions and specs.
• Read blueprints and perform in-process inspections with precision tools.
• Document setup times, production quantities, and downtime accurately.
• Follow 5S and safety standards; participate in process improvements.
