Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing is seeking a Manual Machinist to produce precision metal components for aerospace applications using manual mills, lathes and grinders in a hands-on shop. You will read blueprints, interpret specifications, set up tooling, measure parts with calipers and micrometers, and ensure parts meet GD&T requirements and aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual machining and interpreting blueprints.
• Familiarity with GD&T.
• Ability to read calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual machining equipment to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• Inspect parts per GD&T standards.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and document quality issues.
