Job summary

HEICO is seeking a machinist/operator to learn and operate a Lathe or Mill, ensuring parts meet specifications. You will use micrometers and bore gauges, read blueprints, and document process steps within the company system.

Training will cover setup, tolerance checks, and equipment maintenance, following the time-in-location priority list. Ideal candidates can read CAD drawings (SolidWorks or similar), communicate in English, and demonstrate strong problem solving.

Qualifications

• Must speak, read and write the English language.
• CAD experience relating to Solidworks and other CAD software.
• Should be able to read blueprints.
• Must have excellent problem solving skills.
• Competent in at least 70% of departmental processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate Lathe/Mill and learn proper operation.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges to check tolerances.
• Complete machine set-ups and indicate parts to tolerance.
• Maintain assigned equipment.
• Follow the time-in-location priority list.
