ITT Aerospace Controls LLC in Valencia, CA, is seeking a Machinist I to join our precision machining team. The role focuses on learning safe CNC practices, reading drawings, and using precision instruments under supervision, with potential progression to independent CNC operation.

The candidate should have 1–3 years of CNC shop experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a basic understanding of quality processes. Lean experience is a plus, and a strong safety mindset is essential.

Formación

• Minimum 1-3 years CNC machine shop experience as a machinist operating CNC machines.
• High School diploma or GED or trade school certifications.
• Knowledge of materials, processes, quality control, and cost optimization.
• Lean experience in setups and mistake-proofing preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operate impregnation machine and perform deburring, drilling, and punch press tasks.
• Follow setup sheets and verify CNC machines with correct raw materials.
• Ensure coolant levels and viscosity using refractometer checks.
• Bench drill small diameters and inspect work for conformance.
• Operate tumbler wash, deburr, and simple equipment; maintain safety standards.
• Monitor gauges and indicators to keep machines running properly.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.
