Job summary

HEICO Component Repair Group is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our aerospace repair team in Florida. Set up and operate manual lathes and mills to fabricate and finish aircraft parts, ensuring compliance with FAA and quality standards.

The position requires reading engineering drawings, machining aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel, and performing precision inspections. Safety procedures and PPE use are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience operating lathes, mill machines, and precision tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and standards preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

• Ability to work in a shop environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to mechanical equipment
