Job summary

Moog Inc. seeks a skilled Machinist III to operate on 2nd/3rd shifts at our Buffalo, NY site. You will perform precision machining, CNC programming, and fixture planning for high-tolerance components used in flight-critical assemblies.

The role requires experience with G&M codes and a strong ability to interpret blueprints, with strict adherence to safety and FAA program requirements. The position offers on-site work and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred; otherwise understand and apply English instructions.
4 years’ experience as a diversified machinist.
CAD/CAM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform precision machining operations and CNC programming on CAM systems to create, repair, or alter complex parts, fixtures, tooling, sub-assemblies, and assemblies.
Knowledge of G & M Codes.
Plan, fixturing and layout the job.
Maintain tight tolerances (.0001-.0002).
Inspect and ensure quality of all work performed.
Collaborate with Design Draftsmen and Manufacturing Engineers to resolve issues.
Make technical fixturing, tooling, setup, and inspection method decisions when instructions are lacking.
