Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Fullerton, CA is seeking a Machining Tech IV for the Forming Press on the 2nd shift. This role sets up and operates forming presses (60 to 700 ton) and works with blueprints to ensure parts meet specifications.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of machinery experience, reads drawings, uses micrometers and calipers, and is eligible to work in the United States. On-site position with comprehensive benefits and competitive wages.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience operating machinery.
• Experience with Aida, Maypress, National, and Clearing.
• Ability to use inspection gauges and instruments.
• Ability to read drawings, prints, and written instructions.
• Eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates forming presses (60 to 700 ton).
• Reads blueprints and uses micrometers, calipers, indicators.
• Maintains clean and safe shop floor; trains operators.
• Assists supervision and leaders in training machine operators.
• Performs related tasks and ensures parts meet specifications.
