Job summary

Component Repair Technologies is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist Technician to manufacture turbine engine components to OEM specs in Mentor, OH. You will run CNC mills, verify dimensions, read drawings, and work within a close-knit team in a climate-controlled facility.

The role requires strong GD&T knowledge, first article experience, and a track record in job-shop environments. CRT offers robust benefits and opportunities for growth in aerospace MRO.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience in operating CNC Milling equipment, in job shop or MTO environments.
• First article inspection experience and strong print reading skills.
• GD&T and critical dimensioning knowledge with rework experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Read instructions and inspect parts using gauges and tools to determine material removal.
• Operate CNC mills to achieve required dimensions and load/unload parts during setup.
• Use inspection gauges, micrometers, calipers and comparators to verify dimensions.
• Identify and correct machining problems related to tools, holders, and fixturing.
• Accurately record findings on work instructions and documentation.
• Perform finishing operations such as deburring, tapping, honing, and bench work.
• Participate in training (OJT) for various machinist levels.
