Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking candidates for a Weekend Overnight shift role at North Berwick. The program trains individuals with little or no machining background to become a Certified Operator, including a three-week training and 4–8 weeks on-the-job training.

You will learn to set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines and verify conformance to specifications. The role requires reading, writing, and speaking English, along with a strong willingness to learn and work with engineers and

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• 1+ years of manufacturing, automotive or related trade experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines.
• Read operation sheets and travelers to prepare equipment.
• Attend 3-week training and 4-8 weeks of on-the-job training.
• Join engineers, QA, and other staff to resolve machining problems.
