Job summary

Triumph in Macomb, MI is seeking an Apprentice Machinist to learn and operate a range of machine tools to tight tolerances on aerospace components. You will be trained on manual and CNC lathes and mills, set up equipment, read blueprints, and contribute to safe, quality-driven production.

Responsibilities

• The apprentice will be trained in manufacturing machining functions using manual/CNC lathes, mills, basic hand tools.
• Sets up and operates lathes, milling machines, shapers, hobs, and precision grinders to make aerospace parts to sketch.
• Uses machinist’s hand tools and precision measuring instruments; makes standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling.
• Other duties as assigned.
