Job summary

TRIUMPHdesigns in the aviation and industrial components sector seeks a skilled machinist to operate CNC and manual centers, shaping, drilling, and forming parts to tight specifications. You will support tooling, setup, and quality checks across metal, composites, and plastics.

You will review process sheets, attach fixtures, measure pieces, and adjust feeds and speeds while coordinating with the manufacturing engineer. Adherence to safety and 6S is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 4–6 years machining experience and/or training; CNC certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC or manual machining centers.
• Perform milling, drilling, boring, or related operations to close tolerances.
• Review setup sheets and dimensions for machining sequence.
• Attach fixtures and secure work pieces as instructed.
• Select and install cutting tools; measure parts for conformance.
• Adjust feeds and speeds; coordinate with manufacturing engineer.
• Machine non-metal materials as required (composites, plastic, rubber).
• Maintain 6S standards; perform machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Troubleshoot faults and adjust operations as needed.
