Job summary

Triumph Geared Solutions, based in Park City, UT, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate lathe and milling machines for aerospace components. You will prepare machines, inspect parts, and ensure quality through precision measurement.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years of CNC experience, with a preferred CNC certificate or degree. Safety and adherence to schedules are essential in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary CNC certificate or degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up, adjust, and run CNC Lathe and Milling machines for aerospace work.
• Prepares machines for production by inspecting parts for malfunctions and calling for repairs when needed.
• Uses a variety of hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Makes standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work.
• Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with statistical process control or VIP.
• Regulates machining by utilizing machine instrumentation knowledge, setting and adjusting controls.
• Meets production deadlines by following manufacturing schedule and procedures.
• Maintains a safe working environment and keeps work areas clean.
