Job summary

Vectrus, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Manager – First Line Supervisor in Indianapolis to lead a frontline team responsible for the manufacture, assembly, depot repair, and sustainment of aerospace products in a regulated setting.

You will manage daily machining operations, scheduling, and staff development while ensuring compliance with AS9100/ISO standards, safety policies, and customer requirements. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years in production/manufacturing/aerospace or depot repair.
• Leadership/lead/working lead experience preferred (2+ years).
• Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred in Management/Engineering/Operations or related field.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly and/or salaried employees in the assigned work area.
• Schedule and prioritize work to meet production and depot repair commitments.
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback for development.
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people leadership per site standards.
• Maintain documentation for audits and certifications.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce defects and enhance throughput.
