Job summary

Vitesse Systems is seeking a Backshop Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple backshop departments, including Electrical Assembly, Paint, Plating, Deburring, Testing, Welding, Mechanical Assembly, Sheet Metal, and PCM Fill. You will ensure safe, on-time production while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing activities across multiple backshop departments.
• Execute production schedules to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and priorities to maximize throughput.
• Monitor production metrics such as productivity, efficiency, and scrap.
• Resolve production issues affecting quality, safety, or delivery.
• Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
