RTX is seeking a student in East Hartford to join the Commercial lubrication and thermal management systems team. You will analyze and develop the oil system in a complex environment, using cutting-edge tools, testing rigs, and full-scale engine tests.

This role blends design, execution and analysis with real-world applications on gas turbine lubrication and thermal management. Ideal candidates are pursuing STEM degrees with GPA 3.0 or higher, and have exposure to aero-thermal fluids coursework

Competenze

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced STEM degree and enrolled through internship/co-op.
• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Mansioni

• Use 1D flow modeling to analyze gas turbine lubrication and thermal systems.
• Use field data to monitor fleet health and support customers.
• Specify engine validation test plans and review engine/test rig data.
• Optimize oil system architecture for safety, cooling and lubrication.
• Operate independently to develop system-level solutions.
