Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Logistics Specialist I to support coordination and execution of logistics activities, including preparation and documentation of materials for deployment and storage. You will ensure compliance with state, federal, and global regulations and help maintain accurate records of logistics operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 0-1 year of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Basic knowledge of state, federal, and global regulations related to logistics.
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and documentation of logistics materials, including spares, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate and track the shipping and routing of materials, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment, components, repair parts, and related manuals.
• Support the allocation and organization of storage facilities for logistics materials.
• Assist in the documentation and compliance with import/export requirements.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
