Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Logistics Specialist I to support preparation and documentation of materials, spares, tools, and equipment for deployment and storage. You will ensure shipping compliance with regulations and maintain accurate records of logistics activities.

The role requires a high school diploma, 0-1 year in logistics, and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 year of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Basic knowledge of state, federal, and global regulations related to logistics.
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and documentation of logistics materials, including spares, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate and track the shipping and routing of materials, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment, components, repair parts, and related manuals.
• Support the allocation and organization of storage facilities for logistics materials.
• Assist in the documentation and compliance with import/export requirements.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
