Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in Cannon AFB, NM seeks a Logistics Specialist III who will lead complex logistics projects, ensuring compliant, efficient operations and strategic process improvements.

You will manage records for equipment and parts, optimize storage, and coordinate with stakeholders for timely delivery, including international deployment readiness. The role requires DoD familiarity, logistics experience, and flexibility for extended hours and rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in logistics or supply chain management.
• Higher degree may substitute for experience.
• Knowledge of state, federal and global logistics regulations.
• MS Word and Excel proficiency.
• Ability to deploy to OCONUS locations.
• Willing to work extended hours and shifts.
• Current passport and ability to obtain travel visa.
• Willing to deploy on a 90/90 rotation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex logistics projects, including preparation, documentation, and routing of materials.
• Develop strategic logistics plans to optimize efficiency and compliance.
• Analyze and maintain records of equipment, components, repair parts, and related manuals.
• Oversee and improve the allocation and organization of storage facilities for logistics materials.
• Ensure strict compliance with import/export requirements.
• Coordinate with senior internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Mentor and provide leadership to Logistics Specialist I and II.
