Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Logistics Specialist II in Dayton, OH to coordinate and optimize logistics activities. You will oversee materials documentation, shipping, and storage while ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate records.

The role supports ISR, aviation, and security programs with responsibilities including mentoring junior staff and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries. A Secret Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of logistics experience required.
• Knowledge of state, federal and global logistics regulations.
• Basic Word and Excel skills required.
• Experience with inventory databases.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and documentation of logistics materials, including spares, tools, and equipment.
• Manage the shipping and routing of materials, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Maintain and analyze records of equipment, components, repair parts, and related manuals.
• Optimize the allocation and organization of storage facilities for logistics materials.
• Ensure compliance with import/export requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Provide mentorship to Logistics Specialist I.
