Job summary

Beehive Industries, LLC in Centennial, Colorado seeks a Transportation and Logistics Leader to design, implement, and manage a multi-site logistics strategy. You will oversee end-to-end movement of materials, components, and finished goods between suppliers, plants, and customers.

The role emphasizes cost control, regulatory compliance (DOT, ITAR, EAR), KPI reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with procurement, operations, and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 8+ years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Experience managing multi-site logistics operations.
• Proficiency with ERP/MES and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute multi-site transportation and logistics strategy that aligns with operational, production, and customer delivery goals.
• Assess current processes, identify gaps, and establish standardised procedures for inbound and outbound logistics.
• Select and manage transportation modes (LTL, FTL, air freight, courier, etc.) to balance cost, speed, and reliability.
• Develop contingency and risk management plans for supply disruptions.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with freight carriers, and partners.
• Maintain strong relationships with service providers and ensure performance to agreed service levels.
• Manage freight spend, contracts, and rate to ensure competitive pricing.
• Establish standard work for shipping and receiving activities at each site.
• Implement logistics KPIs (on-time delivery, transit times, freight cost per unit) and report results to leadership.
• Oversee transportation scheduling, load planning, and routing.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce costs, shorten lead times, and improve delivery reliability.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, ITAR, EAR, and other applicable regulations for shipping aerospace components.
