Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking skilled technicians to operate robotic welding systems and support production areas across facilities. You will interpret engineering drawings, perform inspections, and troubleshoot issues to keep aerospace components moving.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, basic Windows skills, and the ability to work a M-Th shift schedule with early hours. Relocation may be provided and travel up to 5% is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in automated welding equipment.
• Experience in manufacturing, integration, or another relevant field.
• Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills in Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic team with changing roles.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic weld systems.
• Setup new production work areas, including layouts, tooling, and equipment.
• Perform verifications and inspections to engineering models and drawings.
• Troubleshoot and correct discrepancies by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control.
• Operate material handling equipment as required.
• Set up and use precision tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, depth gauges).
• Support 5S, FOD, and safety in daily activities.
