Job summary

SB Tool Company in Shelby Charter Township, MI seeks a Laser Tracker Technician to use a FARO laser tracker and Verisurf software to inspect aerospace tooling, jigs and fixtures against engineering drawings and generate clear inspection reports.

You will produce accessible reports with written descriptions, 3-D visuals and tables, and document inspection results. Prior experience with Verisurf and Faro trackers is required; training provided for aerospace applications.

Qualifications

• Strong math, verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Verisurf Software required.
• GD&T and blueprint reading proficiency expected.

Responsibilities

• Produce clear inspection reports with descriptions, 3-D visuals and data tables.
• Document inspection results and maintain reports for aerospace tooling and fixtures.
• Assist in inspecting tooling, jigs and fixtures for aerospace, space and defence projects.
