Job summary

AIT is seeking a Tool and Laser Maintenance Technician located at a customer facility. You will operate Faro, Leica and API laser trackers, perform routine and emergent maintenance, and ensure tooling meets strict quality standards. You’ll inspect parts with measuring equipment, apply GD&T principles, and prepare tooling accessories.

Some travel to other customer sites may be required. Applicants should have an associate degree or technical accreditation and at least one year of laser-tracker

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical accreditation.
• Prior tooling and equipment maintenance experience.
• Minimum one year with laser trackers, metrology, data analysis and report generation.

Responsibilities

• Perform recurring planned maintenance.
• Perform emergent maintenance and repair as needed.
• Inspect and verify accuracy of assembled parts using measuring equipment.
• Operate laser trackers and related optical equipment.
• Travel to customer sites as required and assist with tool modifications.
