HX5, LLC seeks an Engineering Technologist III to support NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. The AML Lab provides test services for aerospace materials and hardware, requiring routine and non-routine testing across mechanical, physical, thermal, vacuum and electrical domains.

The role demands a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2–5 years in a lab setting, with a strong safety mindset and proficiency in MS Office.

• Experience performing mechanical, thermal, and electrical tests.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to document analyses.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine tests in mechanical, physical, thermal, vacuum and electrical areas.
• Calculate results, populate spreadsheets, and compile data in documents.
• Collaborate with Lab Manager on test design and procurement.
• Maintain lab equipment, SOPs, and safety documentation.
• Support maintenance, calibration, and safety walkthroughs.
