Qualifications

• Experience in a laboratory environment is required.
• Strong safety mindset in all testing activities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to organize, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work unsupervised for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine tests and analyses in mechanical testing.
• Calculate test results, populate spreadsheets, and compile results in Word tables.
• Work with Lab Manager on test design and build-up to meet project needs.
• Procure parts, supplies, and lab equipment.
• Maintain and update JHAs and SOPs for lab equipment; perform safety walk-throughs.
• Maintain laboratory equipment in a ready-to-use status; conduct preventive maintenance.
• Safety documentation and perform other duties as required.
